Coach Scott DeGroot brings over 30 years of coaching experience to our club, with 24 years dedicated to soccer, ranging from Classic 2 to the Midwest Regional League (MRL). He also has eight years of experience coaching high school track and cross country, and one year coaching college cross country.
With over 50 years of playing experience, Scott’s soccer journey includes four years of high school play, where he was a four-time state runner-up and a two-time all-conference selection. He also played one year at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay (UWGB) and has spent 25 years in the NWSL Adult League, primarily with the Green Bay Kickers and Team Miller. Despite joking that he plays slower and less effectively now, Scott continues to enjoy both indoor and outdoor soccer.
